I wanted to play a little longer on the first game to try and figure out what the heck was going on, if my economy was doing anything for how the game was progressing, was the tech level helping at all, do the wonders help. Wot That simple opinion from some random Steam user with absolutely no. whatever - no option like that which is not normal for a Sid Meier game. I loved Civ5, but felt like Civ:BE was a mediocre title, and Sid Meiers has left. It would be nice if we could determine how the winner is selected, be it by time, population, wonders, largest fleet, tech level. The second game was a win by me, apparently a "population" victory, even though I wasn't trying to win that way, but I defeated two large enemy fleets with no loses and I apparently get the remains of their empire, which is weird, you would think I would still have to defeat their planetary system "defenses" to absorb their planets into my empire, and every other empire on their border would also get a crack at expanding their borders as well at my expense, but that didn't happen. ![]() I lost my first game, I still have no idea why, possibly a "wonder" victory by their side, but who knows (never read the manual (if there is one)) - it just suddenly ended and I apparently didn't win even if my "federation" was the largest - size wise. From my point of view, I still have no idea what the heck I'm doing, but it's a fun game none the less. ![]()
